NSG 510 Communication for Leaders
In this course, students will learn about communication principles and how to select appropriate communication styles to facilitate collaboration and achieve optimal outcomes. The student will explore communication styles used in conflict management and negotiations. Students will review emotional intelligence and its impact on communication in the workplace. They will also compare and contrast communication strategies that support diversity and safe patient care. Credit: 3 hours. This course is offered in an online format.
