Course Memo
This course emphasizes the relationship between the role of the nurse as a social advocate, the politics of healthcare and the impact of these on the nursing profession. Topics will explore the roles of government, bureaucratic agencies, organizations, consumers and health care providers in the shaping, development, and implementation of health policy. Prerequisite: NSG300. Credit: 3 hours. This course is offered in an online format.
