Course Memo

Nutrition is the study of how nutrients and food components function at molecular, cellular, and whole-body levels to impact human health and disease. Nutritional requirements and related health concerns of pregnant and lactating women, infants, children, adults, and geriatric population are studied in relation to the physiological and metabolic aspects of pregnancy, lactation, growth, and development, maintenance of health, prevention of disease, and aging. Credit: 3 hours. This course is offered in an online format.
