NSG 515 Nursing Informatics for the Advanced Practice Nurse
This course prepares the student for proficient use of health information technology and information systems in a leadership role. The student will examine informatics issues within complex healthcare systems and translate evidence to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes. Students also will explore how informatics can facilitate interprofessional collaboration and the coordination of care. Credit: 3 hours. This course is offered in an online format.
