This course explores the impact of contemporary issues in society, on healthcare delivery, and management. The emphasis is on the study of legal aspects of healthcare and principles of ethical decision-making. Topics of study include advocacy, consumer protection, public policy and the shift in healthcare to the public domain. Credit: 3 hours.
