Course Memo
This course instructs the student in the principles and theoretical knowledge required to prepare and assist in procedures for otorhinolaryngology, oral, plastics and reconstructive surgery, neurological and cardiac/thoracic specialties. Areas such as burns and pathology as they apply to surgery are covered as well as the care of the surgical patient preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively. Pre-requisites: SRG121, SRG125. Co-requisites: SRG135. Credit: 3 hours.
