Course Memo

This course will utilize prior knowledge of inquiry and introduce the nursing research process, theory and methods for making informed decisions in nursing practice. The aim of this course is to promote the role of the nurse as a consumer of research and evidence-based practice. This course expands upon the role of the nurse as an advocate of evidence-based research through the utilization of health information technology. Prerequisites: NSG313, MAT201.Credit: 3 hours. This course is offered in an online format.
