Course Memo

This course provides operating room experience to enhance the student’s understanding of the principles and skills required to assist in surgical procedures for otorhinolaryngology, oral, plastics and reconstructive surgery, neurological and cardiothoracic specialties. Focus is directed on independent role assumption and the ability to function as a member of the sterile surgical team during advanced surgical interventions. Prerequisites: SRG121, SRG125. Co-requisite: SRG131. Credit: 3 hours.
