Course Memo
The practicum provides the students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge, demonstrate professional attitudes, interact with other health care professionals and patients, and perform the administrative and clinical duties of a medical assistant. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to perform the duties of the Medical Assistant as they apply to the assigned office. Prerequisites: All courses in the Medical Assisting Diploma Program. Co-Requisites: MED 145. Credits: 4 hours (12 hours lab).
