Course Memo
This course is designed to provide individualized experience in the advanced surgical role including a focus on managerial skills to the associate degree level student. Emphasis is placed on developing and demonstrating proficiency in skills necessary for advanced practice in complex surgical specialties and management. Upon completion, students will be able to assume leadership roles in a chosen specialty area. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all courses in the Surgical Technology Diploma Program curriculum. Credit: 3 hours.
