Course Memo

This course will provide a foundation for the use of therapeutic modalities to promote performance skills and engagement in occupations. The theoretical principles, clinical application, and documentation for thermal and electrical agents, the design and fabrication of splints, and use of orthotics and prosthetics will be related to occupational therapy intervention case scenarios. Pre-requisites: OCT 530. Co-requisites: OCT 630, OCT 640. Credit: 3 hours. This course is offered in a hybrid format.
