Course Memo

Functional Kinesiology will consider the structure and function of joints of the body, biomechanical properties of joint tissues of the body, static and kinematic analysis of the musculoskeletal system, and mechanics and pathomechanics of muscle activity at the joints of the body. Independent research and analysis of pathological influences will be correlated with assessments in required papers and presentations in this course. Prerequisites: Enrollment in a graduate program or permission of the instructor. Credit: 3 hours.
