Course Memo
This course is designed to acquaint students with the craft of creative writing. Students will explore the various skills needed to compose reflective writing, short fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and other creative forms. Through writing, students will work to sharpen their skills of observation, description, and analysis to enhance their own creative direction and the perspective of others. Students will be expected to read and comment on their peers' writing with thoughtful and constructive criticism, as well as read and discuss published work. Prerequisite: ENG 101. Credit: 3 hours.
